Our beautifully preserved 18th-century courtroom retains its striking neo-classical design, with elegant windows and impressive high ceilings that create an intimate and unforgettable setting for your special day.

We pride ourselves on flexibility, giving couples the freedom to shape a wedding that reflects their own vision within the unique grounds of The Old Courthouse. Our wedding package includes everything you need for your celebration, with the option to personalise your day through a range of added extras.

Couples also enjoy complimentary use of our historic Grand Jury Room for ceremonies and a spacious riverside courtyard to the rear of the building, ideal for a marquee, offering endless possibilities for a ceremony that feels truly your own.

Celebrate with a stunning wedding banquet in our main courtroom, catered by our experienced kitchen team who will work with you to create the perfect menu for you and your guests, then dance the night away in breathtaking surroundings and make memories to last a lifetime.

All weddings at The Old Courthouse include complimentary use of our historic Grand Jury Room for your ceremony. Perfectly complementing the charm of our main courtroom, the Grand Jury Room is steeped in history and is ideal for an intimate ceremony, seating up to 50 guests.

For an alternative setting, our large riverside courtyard to the rear of the building provides a stunning outdoor space for ceremonies, and our main courtroom can also be adapted on request, seating up to 150 guests.

We encourage you to bring your own personality to your special day and we’re happy for couples to work with third-party vendors for any part of their experience at The Old Courthouse. We’re delighted to help, and in most cases we can provide access to the venue the evening before your wedding to accommodate any set-up required.
