What can I expect?
The show involves the exploration of the dungeons by small groups of participants. Strange and eerie characters will entice you into their cells to perform for you as you make your way through. Please note that we are more than a haunted house and are set up not just to scare, but also to entertain.
How scary is it?
The Night Terrors event caters for Adults and Teenagers. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+. The event is intended to scare you, but be aware that what scares one person is different to what may scare another. These tours are not suitable for people with heart conditions.
I got too scared and couldn’t finish the course, do I receive a refund?
No, since the events are designed to scare you, there are no refunds if you are too scared.
What should I wear?
We encourage visitors to come in fancy dress for Halloween but it is not essential. It is however important that the clothing worn, particularly footwear, is suitable for the event. We do not recommend heels of any sort. The event is not suitable for wheelchair accessibility.
Are there any special effects used?
The events are carried out in low light conditions, and audio, video and strobe lighting effects will be used throughout the tour.
Epilepsy Warning: Since Strobe Lighting will be used in parts of the Night Terrors shows please let us know when booking and when arriving if this will affect you.
Are you allowed to take photographs or videos?
There will be areas throughout The Old Courthouse on the night of the tours for visitors to take photos but no photography or video recording will be allowed during the main part of the Night Terrors tours.
Is alcohol allowed on the Night Terrors tour?
All ticket holders over the age of 18 will receive a complimentary glass on wine on arrival. Alcohol purchased in The Old Courthouse only may be consumed on the tour. No outside alcohol will be allowed. If you attempt to bring in alcohol or we feel that you are under the influence of alcohol you may be asked to leave the tour for safety reasons.
