You are invited to celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg at Lifford Old Courthouse. The National Day of Creativity for children and young people, Cruinniú na nÓg, takes place on Saturday 15th June 2024.

It aims to celebrate and encourage children and young people’s participation in culture and creativity by providing free activities to them in their own area.

Events at Lifford Old Courthouse include: A Collaborative Mural with Illustrator Ruth Graham will involve participants creating a mural centred around themes of community and the future. Express yourself using various mediums and contribute to a vibrant visual representation.

Musical Exploration with Brí Carr will showcase a diverse range of instruments. Young attendees
can try their hand at playing and even participate in the creation of a bilingual music video.

Or why not join Astro Photographer Treasa Giblin Frazer for some stargazing adventures! Treasa
will lead an exploration of the night sky. Participants will also craft astro-themed bookmarks,
making this an ideal introduction to night sky photography.

Or roam freely through Lifford Old Courthouse, including its historic jail cells and immerse
yourself in the rich heritage of this iconic venue, you can even get fingerprinted by the foul
tempered prison guard, “Tiny”.
