International Visitors
Lifford Old Courthouse is a great day out during our visit to Co. Donegal. Our indoor activities and year round opening make us a perfect rainy day stop off, particularly outside of the Summer months.
We welcome international visitors regularly, including many who are able to trace their ancestry back to Lifford Courthouse, with their relatives having been sentenced to transportation.

How do I book?

Do I need to speak English?
Our guided tours are currently carried out in English only, but a multi-lingual visitor experience will be available from Summer 2023 onwards for a self guided tour. Our Jailbreak Escape Room also requires basic English language skills and has been enjoyed by groups from all over the globe.
Do you open on weekends?
We do open on select weekends and the best way of keeping up to date with these is checking out our social media pages.
Do you accept Pound Sterling?
We accept both Euro & Sterling, as well as all major credit and debit cards.
